CIMB Enrich Card:

Features and Benefits:

FREE Flights to your favourite destinations with CIMB Enrich MasterCard - Be rewarded with an additional ticket when you fly Business Class with Malaysia Airlines. With CIMB Enrich Platinum MasterCard, you have the privilege of a free ticket when you purchase a full fare Business Class ticket to ALL Malaysia Airlines destination.

How are we going to claim for the complementary free ticket? Free ticket claimed can be used on the same trip or only for next order?

Last time I used it was thru their appointed travel agent and must be used on the same trip ie. same time/date etc. Maybe you can try change date after getting the ticket?

strangely i've never had any bad experience with hsbc at all.

everytime i asked for an upgrade in credit limit, it was given. recently, they upgraded my gold to platinum without me requesting.

i also find their customer service to be better than other banks, they called back everytime they said they would

their online message system also responds within 24 hours

For card user who makes full payment each month, they earn 2.5% cashback on Shell purchase, 0.75% on non-Shell transactions.

Why are u asking this question as the answer can be found at Citibank's website?

Don't you see a fax number on top of the BT form??
Are you using the official form provided in the website?

Was looking at my OCBC statement, and just realized I got charged interest. Although the bulk of the interest was reversed off due to the 0% interest promotion, there is a portion of interest that was not. A call to the CS gives me the answer: "This is the interest on the GST, which is not covered by the 0% promotion".

I asked them to waive as I made more than the minimum payment to even cover the GST in full.

Anyone have the same problem?

The cashback offered by Public Bank cards is also not easy to get and not guaranteed.

There is always a condition saying that the total cashback is limited to RMXXXXX, or, limited to the first XXXX eligible cardmembers. Quite a few of my friends who are using PB cards are pissed off when talking about PB rebates.

Thanks for highlighting this. The fact that many got so excited about the cashback promo without reading the fine print reflect how poor we are in general when it comes to being careful. The one thing we are good at is to blame the bank when something goes wrong.

Generally the banks in Malaysia are rather transparent when it comes to T&C (it is another thing when customers don't read them) unlike "the red low cost airline" which IMHO ... their adverts are often misleading.

laugh.gif That is because there is no specific law requiring them to publish the net fare in their advertisement. And they learn that from Ryanair. Well, it's actually even worse with Ryanair. They could tell you your flight is going to Frankfurt but when you arrive there, you'll realize you are arriving at Frankfurt-Hahn airport instead of Frankfurt-Rhein Main. Frankfurt-Hahn airport is like 2 hours away from Frankfurt ohmy.gif doh.gif

I just redeem a cooking pot with the cc points. The brand is ASD made is USA. Sells about RM80.

Though my cc doesn't offer many contests compared to PB cc and etc, I still have to stay with 1 cc.

if want to save on the Rm50 tax, I better go for DC. However I will not have any credit inside the DC. I am going bonkers over this decision on CC or DC. Any suggestion? Tq.

It depends ... if the amount need to be paid is more than RM5,000, then using cheque is definitely more cost effective.
