Because the online payment processor usually needs the front 4-digit printed on the top of your 15-digit AMEX card number instead of the CVV number at the back.
I paid once only to book a hotel. The online payment processor is RBS.

Hihi, I does CIMB classic card (the normal one) has petrol rebate? When I applied, the bank officer said yes. I don't remember clearly, because I wanted it for balance transfer. Now rethinking back, I think she did mention about it. Many thanks.

If you intend to pay in full, you should pay the amount stated in the statement balance column.

If the RM50 tax appears on the same statement as the RM50 tax that you redeemed which has also been credited into your account, it means they have already deducted the RM50 from your statement balance. If your current statement balance is showing RM660+, then you will have to pay RM660+. Should they have not deducted the RM50 tax, it should appear as RM710+.

I don't see any PETROL REBATE in CIMB Cards. You try to search here.

By the way, it is DIRECT ACCESS which offers petrol rebate 2% (expiring by 31/12/2010, subject to renewal).

HSBC gst will be charged 1 month after expiry date. if ur expiry is 09/14 then the gst will be on ur Oct statement, not Sept.

u should redeem gst50 AFTER it shows at ur statement. like me, i did pay full amount 1st (the last day of due date) then redeem gst50 (before next statement). so my next statement got rebate rm50 and extra rm50 will be deducted to next statement.

do u pay early? if yes, pls call HSBC helpline

Do Telekom Malaysia and Sesco fall into government category or not?

I am entitled with bonus point for paying my SESCO bill and Telekom Malaysia bill with my credit card... I thought there is no point since these two utilities fall under government category?

He already redeemed the credit card tax last month ... before the actual credit card tax is billed. And since they have credited the credit card tax that he redeemed last month.

Chill, I will try to check out from CIMB, when I first heard ("card benefit", that sound a good deal, I did not really put into notice on it

may be the Bank officer talking about DA, hmm

Offtopic, Ambank bill RM50 GST , then only can use point to redeem
