Im using WhatApps on my N95. So far its ok. Yes it will drain up ur battery life but make sure you turn it off when u dont want to use it.
This is my way to turn it off when im not in the WIFI area.
I just use or enable it when im stay longer time in a WIFI coverage such as in office or my home.
1. make sure you have install WhatApp
2. Install NetQin Mobile Guide (Im using V3.0) Its Free
3. Run Mobile Guide, On the MENU, choose BOOTMGR
4. Choose WhatApp, click option and choose DISABLE AUTO START
(This will prevent WhatApp from autorun on phone boot.)
5. Reboot your phone or
6. go to MENU, choose APP MGR, go to PROCESS and find for WhatsApp, ProgMgrServer and LoggerServer. Press
option and CLOSE PROCESSES.
(This will TURN the WhatApp OFF)
To launch WhatApp, just launch press the icon manually.
To turn it OFF repeat step 6.
