that's the only way i know :/ other than that...i've learned to live with it and switch off my 3G to conserve battery or switch to Power Saving Mode.

@Dlim88: How do I "kill it"? Pressing and holding the "Menu" button on the X6 and C7 will show the list of open apps. When I close/exit the app, it'll pop-up again after a while! About 10 seconds! I'm asking on behalf of my parents. I'm not a Nokia-user.

i've find it very useful whatsapp ok.
i could be connected to my fellow bB and iphone users.

it's the best chat app out there...no need to login or watsoever...save on sms cost which is quite dear at 10 sen per sms.

It does save me a lot of cost too, as my gf is stationed oversea, 1 sms would cost me RM0.50. Best is she can look for me anytime.

Yes, true. I have 12GB data plan, I am just hurting my battery anyway. New original battery is around RM70+ only, so is still fine for me.

i off 3G if i want to save battery, using WAP or 2G saves battery n on top of that i switch on my phone's power saving mode and i can last up to 2 days with heavy txting and some calls.

nah, it's bright enough indoors. outdoor under sunlight, definitely need maximum brightness, but it's not like u r under the sun most of the time tongue.gif even the minimum brightness is good enough. but of course i use a dark background, bright coloured fonts theme for better visibility.

And the why for me is the most awesomeat chat app, it does not required any ID to chat or whatnot. As soon I install this thing I had like 62 contacts already.

so this is a wellknown issue...damn! Even on my E52 the battery is flat within a day. It just keep connecting back to 3G, although the application appear to be not running. Think I will uninstall when I can't stand it anymore.
