Hi people, can suggest any package of 1.5k with guitar and amp?

I'm open to Acoustic and Electric biggrin.gif

Musical influence : Blues, Hard Rock, and abit of Oldies rock and also some metallica.

I only want brands like Ibanez, LTD, Squier, Epiphone, Scheter and Washburn. Thanks ;D

And also, I don't like guitar that has a shape like this. http://www.google.com.my/imglanding?imgurl...ved=0CB8Q9QEwAg

I have around RM1500-RM1600 to spend for both guitar and amp, kindly suggest?

Another thing, i want my first guitar to be New, i don't want 2nd hand ( No offence to 2nd hand guitar sellers )

Peace biggrin.gif

I'm thinking of Squier Deluxe Stratocaster FMT.

Anyone got any comments about this guitar? biggrin.gif

my budget is 1.5k-1.6k for both guitar and amp.

good choice, but can save money and go for the one without the FMT.
the extra money ur paying is more for looks since the FMT does nothing to the sound.

How much is the one without FMT? :/

Anyway, i heard reviews about squiers, their necks are really thin, so it easy to bend / break it.

Isit true? :>

My Squiers Telecaster Customs have a tough neck, I dont think you can break it easily. Actually that guitar is so good I bought two of them.. but what interesting is that both have very different neck profile, one is  thicker than the other. But I like both. I only know of Ibanez these days that have thin necks.

What about the rock tone? Isit suitable to play any hard rock songs?

Ibanez necks are meant to be thinner and wider..eg Wizard
If you have a wider fretboard easier for you to solo..fast ones
Where else Squiers imitate Stratocasters and you have the C shaped and V shaped necks for Strats..a lot fatter compared to Ibanez
You play JM blues go for Strats..I heard that JM has his current signature strat the Black1 at Bentley  brows.gif

Waaa, how much? JM signature, should be very expensive right? yawn.gif

Anyway, my budget increased to 1800
