is it just my eyes, or does CECH3000 series have a darker front fascia where the keys are? it no longer looks a light mirror.

also, noticed the Sony logo on the front is engraved now instead of the print-on, and the front and sides look matte to me. which kind of solves the hairline scratching issue that older series have at the cost of making it look cheaper.

just the cosmetic differences I've observed.
