My dear, you think I should get a ps 3 as well.? I have Psp and Xbox now

100% i do recommend you to get Playstation 3 ( btw im not promoting it just to make a sales , it based on my knowledge and experience , cause me myself also owned PS3 and Xbox360 ) ..

Playstation 3 will offer you :

1. Play PS3 Games ( Blu-Ray Disc Game ) - [ region 1 - US ] [ region 2 - Europe / Japan ] [ region 3 - Asia ] [ region 4 - Australia / New Zealand ] * the great things was ALL ps3 games are " REGION FREE " and can play at any region PS3 consoles

2. Play Blu-Ray Movies - you can play blu-ray movies on PS3 , for blu-ray it would be region locked , you have to follow the system region code ( some blu-ray movies are region free )

3. Online Gaming / Shopping via Playstation Network / Store - the great things bout online gaming via PS3 was F.O.C ( free ) , but some items in playstation store need to be purchase using Credit Card or PSN reload card ( which is similar to prepaid card ) , i do suggest you to create US psn id as the reload card are easy to get at any online gameshop and retail gameshop

4. PS Move - its similar to KINECT on Xbox360 , but you have to purchase PS3 Eye Camera + Motion Controller + Navigation Controller , if you love First Person Shooter i would sugget you PS Move Sharpshooter .. not all games support PS Move .. there is specially made games for it ( PS Move compactible logo at the box art )

5. It also offers you - surf the internet via playstation browser , log on to Facebook , download video stream , download demos , download game patch , download themes & wallpapers , download / play music / audio cd etc.

6. Not to forget PS3 also can play DVD movies but its also region locked , you have to follow the system region code

7. Download Photo - you can save and view your favorite photo on PS3 , you can upload your photo via USB port at PS3 system

8. Chat & Send Message - you can send message to your PSN friend + voice chatting via bluetooth headset during gameplay or when you access at the XMB screen

it does everything , worth it

is it just my eyes, or does CECH3000 series have a darker front fascia where the keys are? it no longer looks a light mirror.

also, noticed the Sony logo on the front is engraved now instead of the print-on, and the front and sides look matte to me. which kind of solves the hairline scratching issue that older series have at the cost of making it look cheaper.

just the cosmetic differences I've observed.

other then that the power cosumption also changed from 230w > 200w , weight slightly lighter then previous - before 3.0kg > now 2.6kg , other then that click on hyperlink below

Singapore set = Cheap,Warranty need take back to singapore claim or either send back to the seller ask them help you claim(They might charge you) xD
Malaysia set = A little more expensive but you can claim at Malaysia
