Guys, just booked a teana, waiting for the loan to approve. Thinking of getting white or silver, any comment? Is white hard to maintain?
*
Both are nice, but I prefer white. For me, silver didn't look outstanding compared to white. Silver is the easiest colour to maintain, I own a silver 2005 Camry and still look clean (in waxed condition) even didn't wash for 2 weeks (mind that I live in rural area, cars are easier to get dirty). White is not so difficult to maintain but is after black colour which on the top in the list. Dust will get visible immediately after I wash the my black Toyota Wish. White is OK, but have to polish and wax it. In my opinion, Teana's outline is more obvious in white colour and it makes the car look bigger.

jus went to seksyen 13 nissan tan chong, plan to check out for teana 2.0...comparing with accord...wat kind of service is tat...tat sales assistant jus like tak layan, he think i cant afford....when i ask for test drive, really wanna compare de feel as i went for accord test drive earlier on...he said, no test drive available, car key nt here la...bla bla bla....then tat all, leave me alone there...

wat kind of service is this? tat is, i jus walk away to pick up an accord....no more nissan for me...

Felt sorry to hear that, my Nissan SA is polite. Even when I called him without visiting the showroom first, he still treated me good and looked me as a potential buyer though we had not meet in face. If I were you, change another showroom. My place has three showrooms, I live in a East Malaysia, which is considered as a small area compared to your main town which I predict there are more showrooms. I would not get the Honda in this time, I mean it is good but too old in the market as it was launched near 2008 and had been around for 4.5 years times with another facelift. I predict new Accord will launch next year, as their main rival, Camry had been launched, thus Honda will make the new Accord out to this market asap. It is not worth to buy a Accord now. Next year when you are driving your Accord and meet the new Accord, you would regret. Just my 2 cents.

r u sure? but to me i think Teana looks so ordinary...
*
Yes, Teana without body kits is ordinary, Tan Chong cleverly make these body kits as free gift as you buy the car to look the car elegant and outstanding. One of the funny thing regarding most of the Nissan cars is, they don't look well in picture or video until you observe the car in corner and test it. One of my friends did not even give Nissan Livina a look until he sat in his cousin's Livina. He bought himself a Livina after that.

now the hardest part .. choosing teana was no brainer ... initially i want to get mazda6 and it was suddenly changed to teana ... mainly due to comfort and executive feeling.

initially me and my wife want to buy black but after we saw white, also nicer ... i also like grey .. but no silver for sure ...

maybe tomorrow me want to go and see again ...

current raya promotion;

free body kit, free one year services, gps system .. and discount rm7k ... from pj, jalan kemajuan .. i know the branch manager there ...
btw, is vcool come standard with 2.5?

ive been using my current optima for the past 8 years ... really happy wih optima and hope teana can meet and exceed my optima ...

lets have tt after raya .. im staying in shah alam ..

cheers ..

My prefer colours for Teana:

1) Black
2) White
3) Grey

As far as I know, Vkool is free in all Teana? Correct me if I am wrong. They claimed it costs about RM2000. But you can tear it if you don't want brows.gif , or add another layer of tint, since its visibility is quite high.
