last time(during worldcup) i saw sharp 40 " full hd lcd tv price is 2799, now already 2399, 400 drop ?

why it drops so fast, just a few months only

Cos its obsolete? Even plasma in danger, now all is led tv and 3d tv...

me 3 year ago buy 32inch lcd not even have hd also cost me rm3900...

Probably World Cup season is the best time for electronic shops to con ppl. Cabus,,,

it's true that world cup season is the best time to con people. but the price drop since may is not much...~RM200 drop only.

even though widescreen lcd/plasma is the common thing, rtm, media prima, and even astro (except the byond) still showing their contents at 4:3. IMO, all channels should be in widescreen, even though it's only SD (can be 720x480 or 576). if all channels are in widescreen, i'm sure everyone will change to lcd/plasma cos everyone just hate the letterbox....and this will cause even major price drop.

one weird thing is that even in modern countries like taiwan, most of the tv channels are still in 4:3. stupid eh

Basic economics loh, plus the rate at which new models come out is astounding.

Even though the HD tv's price dropping so fast in here,but still expensive compare to Western country(even change from MYR to their currency)

Not that expensive actually, but that's purchasing parity...what to do.

may be clearing stock, 2011 models are coming to town
