It depend on how long your wife would commit to breastfeed the baby and how many babies you want in your life...

i can only recommend for the long term investment, since my wife want to breast feed the baby for the whole 2 years.

Although the price is premium, it's worth the price for long term investment...and there's a lot of local online shop such as momslittleones, lilkaistore, sarakids etc..sometimes they always have sales/bargains for the breastpump..so watch out..

if you still want more discount, go for ebay shopping..bought medela freestyle pump for half the price they sold here..but kena tax 15%..still cheaper than here..

it seems that the small star valve already discontinued..replace by another type of valve..
