algu,
I've used Pureen breastpump before & sad to say, it doesn't help much. That said, I have a friend who managed to BF for 1.5 years with just the Pureen pump (she mixed feed with formula).

You must 1st ask your wife, how long she plan to BF? If her goal is to BF long term, it's best to invest in a good double pump cos it really makes a lot of difference in the long run. I've used a few single pumps (Pureen -> Pigeon -> Medela) before buying a Medela Pump In Style Advanced. 3 years down the road, I am still breastfeeding my daughter smile.gif.

As for buying 2nd hand, anything that touches milk should be replaced (especially if you're buying from a stranger whose health background is unknown).

Good luck!

HonMun,
I've pumped for almost 3 years & erm, they're not sagging XD

algu,
Knowledge is power. There are a lot of resources to read from online smile.gif. Sites such was www.kellymom.com & www.llli.org provides great information.

BF is not easy, it takes a lot of hard work & determination to succeed smile.gif.

Syd,
Haih, those are very common. People usually will terbeliak when I tell them I am BFing exclusively (no FM too, just like you) cos I am very thin XD (used to weigh 41kg when my baby was younger), hahaha.

nicKit,
For your next pregnancy, start "brainwashing" you hubby once pregnancy is confirmed. Hubby is our best supporter when the "world" is against you!
