this is a bit off topic but when you guys signed up for the maxis plan were you given a microsim card straight up? when i got my phone last friday, the authorised maxis dealer had to cut the sim card. is this the norm?

mine is a postpaid account. i asked the man who attended me why he had to cut the sim rather than getting an original microsim from maxis. he said their shop has been doing this for all their customers. point taken. if its not broken don't fix it!
