Actually OCG means OFFICIAL CARD GAME while TCG means TRADING CARD GAME.
Both types of card can be considered as original and you don't have to worry about the type if you never plan to join any tournament because in tournament or what I can say is official tournament, they will only accept OCG card which is written with JPxxx-xxx, xxx-xxx. TCG will be written with xxx-ENxxx. xxx represent numbers or alphabets.

In other word, OCG is for official tournament depend on the organizer, TCG is for fun play after they got copyright of creating the cards with EN code from KONAMI. <---hmm...
