VLC is shit, but i dont know why im using it. Maybe because of GNU/Linux

mainly for your anime mkv file ?

Version 6.1 below is ok, it plays all type of video throws inside
but after version 6.1 above, its been such a pain to play certain video type.

why? i read on most review, it manage to score high rating.

the 400% volume thing is good when you using headphones, but image quality is better in mpc-hc. the search problem with avi and rmvb files also quite annoying in vlc

K-Lite Mega Codec still better though.

just use the old version.. they put in too many codec untill MPC also jam when want play file

u install Klite there no really any need to upgrade to higher version, most are just updated codec.. even 3 year klite can play most video file here now

Ok la OP, to be honest unless you watch only animu, VLC is at least equal to if not better than MPC-HC

Sometimes AVI Xvid files as well, when my Pentium 4 laptop can't handle 1080p H264 videos. 720p works fine though thanks to ffdshow.

You can do that (regain volume) in MPC-HC as well as ffdshow.

KM player is the most God....can forward and backward by pressing arrows nia.

1080p overkill size i rather go for the 720p

hmm... i've been using MPC-HC 64bit. dunno faster or slower, but I notice some of files played better when i play with mpc-hc. dunno about gom or kmplayer.

i like mpc-hc + ffdshow combo, works every time. and the plethora of customization i can make is pure awesome.

i hate the fact that it can't play rmvb coz many of old JDorama and KDorama is encoded with rmvb.

i dunno why as people want 1080p when the current 720p are as high details as well.

some ppl even want an upscale? i lol at this when trolling browsing in anime blogs.

i am just using a 1mbps line (corporate one, so no trottling for any file types and full speed torrent) so i rather have my bandwidth to download 720p movies and animes (i am an anime freak but not an otaku yet)

and it can save my HDD too. I can save more movies haha.

Seriously what so butthurt about video players. I just choose what works best for me.

For me my setup is light on resource usage (not to mention multi CPU support), compatible with lots of codec/ formats, and have lots of post-processing filters to play with.

And I just need a single 10MB mpc-hc.exe file to play any files wherever I go. :3

this can happen in mpc-hc as well if you set the settings weirdly. and also immature graphic driver can also causes this. back before ATi officially release the mobile version of its driver, I always use the desktop one and mod it as i can update my graphic driver. wait I search for my old screenshot of this gambar pecah in mpc-hc.

for anime as in 2d cartoons, not even 3d like pixar cartoons.

the only anime worth 1080p is 5 centimeters per second

yup, really rare. coz if you just install the mpc-hc with its default settings, you almost wont get this pecah one.

I discover this when changing settings coz wanna see what settings do what. pity if the programmer do a lot of thins in his program, and ppl just use default settings. *sigh*

Why you guys should choose MPC?
Because it got almost every codec support.You can just throw in almost any file format and it'll play without the need of praying to god.
You can custom control the size of 3GP as you want also.

mpc-hc can handle divx, xvid, h264 (quicktime) internally + real alt. if you need real media support.

I've been using KMPlayer for the past 6 months already

I like it because can fast forward and rewind just by clicking the arrow buttons.

But i don't know why everytime i tried to play Music Video around the size of 150MB, sure fail one

Like the MV is playing on slow mode, not synchronizing with the audio
