Edit: I got what you mean I did some survey on Elm, but somehow feel it's build is kinda bad.But it has Wifi,GPS and 5mp camera. Another cons is it's screen might be too small for browsing page, any user's experience? Is it worth getting an Elm? This post has been edited by ericling: Dec 8 2010, 12:01 AM

QUOTE(kae7 @ Dec 8 2010, 07:38 PM) AP set can update the firmware.. but i'm cannot sure 100% as AP set is unpredictable[LoL] .. if it is overseas telco phone[such as ATT/vodafone etc..] 50% chance to update short answer = yes .. it can be updated.. Original is better.. by the way ! Owh because I check the first page of this thread, AP set of ELM cost RM 463 but ori cost RM628. difference around RM200

QUOTE(Quantum_thinking @ Dec 8 2010, 10:41 PM) It is better to get original if you don't want to play around with luck. AP just don't have the 1 year warranty by the authorized distributors right? Personally, phone will last at least 1 year if you take care good of them. Correct me if I'm wrong. Any other AP disadvantages?

If I take Ori ELM, I will rather take Ori Hazel. Just cost around RM50 more. Have any idea why the difference between ELM's ori and ap is so much(around 180)? While Hazel's Ori and AP difference is only around RM50.
Weird.

QUOTE(adrianccseng @ Dec 9 2010, 09:39 PM) Added on December 9, 2010, 9:45 pmBusiness talk goes... When more people needs and/or the stock getting lesser, price will raise up vice versa... sometimes, some evil AP companies might have changed the ORIGINAL accessories away & provides you non-original stuffs, then use some free gifts to "cover" your eyes from catching them giving non-ori stuffs to you... scene 1 : [Victim A] wow, this shop so nice ah, give me screen protector & this & that wow~ good dealer~ well, they might earn more from selling the ori accessories... Great points, thanks a lot. Looks like taking our RM650 for Hazel is a must.

Means Elm GPS is not one time pay charge right? You have to pay whenever you use it. Am I right? How about Nokia 6700? This post has been edited by ericling: Dec 20 2010, 07:29 PM

Oh. On the GSMArena Hazel review, one sentence confused me: QUOTE Almost the whole rear of candybar Elm is made of metal for a very solid upmarket feel. There's a bit of faux metal finish on the Hazel but it's actually all plastic. Real metal would've perhaps made it too heavy – the Hazel isn't slim at all. http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_hazel-review-477p2.phpIt means Elm use metal but Hazel use plastic? Hazel or Elm build is better? This post has been edited by ericling: Dec 22 2010, 05:40 PM
