if can up a bit the budget, can look for moto milestone (got keyboard), or SE X10 (8mp, HD recording), both AP at around 1.3k (these two bigger than previous two)

or C6-00. but is resistive touchscreen, compared to X6 as seggested above (and camera wise, X6 is better). but it got qwerty since qwerty is mentioned in your preferences. but, AP only fit your budget, need to search hard though, as most were sold @ around 780 for AP

SE X10 it is huge screen, but is pocketable
if it is too large, look for HTC Aria. these two if u want to try android.

if want to stick for symbian, can try either C6-01 of C7. C6-01 is kinda thick, but cute fella.. C7 is slimmer, and larger than C6-01. but those camera got no AF as on your 5800

what do u mean by pay for the apps? android also got paid apps actually. just, so far, only free apps are available in Malaysia. there are some trick to buy paid android apps (android section got thread about that )
well, try SE X10. since u'll b using for browsing internet, the large screen will be comfortable. and the camera is so far, IMO, the best on android now.

what will u used for? messaging, =bb. if not, HTC's. but depend on your usage. elaborate more

sorry. i don't know much about 2nd hand value try check garage sale. btw, SE phones as i heard, price drop quite fast but X10 is super phone. it is not really comparable to othe SE's

lol.. wait for 2nd generation, is like, waiting for iphone 3gs the moment iphone 3g out. and waiting iphone 4 when 3gs out.

never heard ppl said about that problems only known problems is mobo.. but not all are effected (i know becasue i use C7 )

i'm not sure about this, did X6 support swype? swype is kinda good for fast typing on capacitive unit

ooo.. it is not major problems as its mobo mobo problems is quite vast back then. display problems maybe experienced by some ppl only

ya.. actually, it is depends on luck too when it comes to defective mobile phones. as my old W595, other users got no problems at all, but mine, always problems. and some C7 users didn't even know mobo problems exist as their unit is ok. same as N8.

em.. AFAIK, all ori phones will get better services compared to AP

n wait, if u say u hear a lot about the little lag of N8, well, it is smooth IMO (firmware updates in near times will reduce this issue i believe). and if u heard many problems related N8, take note, not all units are defective. not 100% as certain phones out there. 2nd batch already arrive. the hardware issue may be far less than 1st batch issue

i believe HTC's excellent built quality will satisfied u. most of them use very high quality plastic. look for HTC wildfire as it is the only one which fall into your budget

1) Aria pawns wildfire for its better resolution
2) depends on users. if u want winmo (more towards business, productivity, tools to work), mozart..
if u want android (apps, fun, customization), desire

emm.. smartphones need a quite a constant updates to stabilize the software.

u can get SE X10 with that budget. the 4" screen is large enough for your need and comfortable image viewing+web surfing.

not really... better buy from Lowyat.net garage sale got lower price phone, + confidence with the quality, not like shop, which some may claim ori, but it is not..
