Guyz, i hav a question. Well, i have some korean songs in my music library but it seems that the music player isn't able to display the korean fonts of the music name. Is there a way to make it so it is able to display the korean fonts? mayb such as installing a korean language pack?

Yay~~ I finally found a way for the phone to read Korean Fonts or any other type of fonts. I juz need to edit the font file to add the desired fonts. I'm soo happy rite now~ been searching for the solution for hours... LOLZ xD

Btw, the GPS system is free to use for Nokia x6 user rite? coz i saw from the 1st page that u hav to pay for A-GPS. or is it only for A-GPS, the normal GPS is free.

No, i didn't need to install anything. I juz opened the phone in Mass Storage mode and made a new "Fonts" folder inside E:\Resource\ . Then, i juz put in the fonts that i want(which are edited to include korean characters also). Well, i basically juz followed this guide:
Full Character Support in every Language

wow..nice sharing. I think i will edit and post it at 1st page. Hope to help others forumrs as well.
Are u mind i post it at 1st page?
*
Sure i dont mind. But then, one thing. Dont follow the guide directly, coz actually u only need to use 2 files(S60SC_C.ttf and S60TCHK_C.ttf) only. The S60ZDIGI.ttf file, u can reuse the original one from the phone. I used Y-Browser to go into Z:\Resource\Fonts and get the file from there. But if u like, i can juz upload it here(the S60ZDIGI.ttf file). Coz i think thats one of the reason some people are experiencing laggy issues(Based on the forum replies). I found out from another site(forgot the url.. >.<) that u dun need to edit the S60ZDIGI.ttf, u can juz reuse the original. And i havent experience any lag issues since i tried this method.

Edit: Actually, i think its easier if i juz upload all the 3 files that i used. haha. then, people can juz copy paste into the X:\Resource\Fonts xD

Edit 2: Kk, here's the 3 file: http://hotfile.com/dl/79989325/5201002/Fonts.7z.html

Juz paste the "Fonts" folder which has the 3 files inside into X:\Resource\ (X being the drive letter for the phone). So, it shud be X:\Resource\Fonts\[The 3 files]

Btw, this files have quite alot of languages inside(Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.). To uninstall it, juz delete the "Fonts" folder with the 3 files. Then, the phone will defaulted with the fonts inside its Z: drive(which can be seen through Y-browser).

btw, it seems like the default system font had change...the mini menu clock seems to be oversize and hidden the (am/pm) but that's not a big deal smile.gif .....a little bit more thinker/bold but i kinna like em'!
*
ehh.. really? haha.. well, i'm still quite new to the phone(only bought it last week), so i didn't really notice the changes of the default system fonts. haha >.< you used the files that i uploaded through the hotfile link rite? Coz if u went to the forum, there's actually 2 types of files, 1 with the default fonts and 1 with a lil bit diff fonts.

kk, i've tried to reedit the system fonts with the default font obtained from Z: drive. And now i see that it is finally using the default system fonts. Well, i think i've edited all the system fonts. If u guyz find any fonts that are different from the system default, please tell me and i'll see what i can do. But for now, i think it is fixed.

well. what is the different between S60SC_C, S60TCHK_C, S60ZDIGI (u uploaded) with s60snr, s60ssb, s60tsb, S60ZDIGI(from daily mobile forum?
Just the name different only?
*
s60snr, s60ssb, s60tsb and s60ZDIGI is actually fonts for another nokia phone(I think its for s60v3 type of phones but not sure >.<). I found out from the Z: drive that for Nokia x6, the font names are different, so i renamed the files to the names that Nokia x6 uses. And well, like stated previously, i edited the system default fonts to match.. the default font.. haha.

I just simply put the 4 fonts into my X6's resource/font folder and it won't start...I suggest you don't try it.
BTW, if I put the fonts into c:\resource\fonts, will it mean when I do hard reset everything will clear?
dangerous dangerous if you put 4 of the fonts directly...
*
No, the 4 fonts are for a different type of nokia phone. It wont work on x6. Use the 3 fonts from the link that i posted before. I've edited it to work with x6. And no, u dun need to do a hard reset. I think this is how it works, when u turn on ur phone, it will 1st check ur mass memory if there are any fonts to be used inside Resource\Fonts, if not, it will juz use the default fonts found inside its Z: drive(which is hidden unless u use Y-Explorer). So, u dun need to do a hard reset on ur phone. Just delete the "Fonts" folder inside ur mass memory and everything will turn back to normal. I've been using the fonts for a few days already and didn't encounter any issues or problems.

Hmm.. i think what u did was u put the fonts inside ur phone's C: drive. ur supposed to put it inside ur mass memory(which usually is the E: drive unless ur computer gave it another letter), not the C: drive of ur phone. Just connect ur phone to ur computer in mass storage mode, and then put the "Fonts" folder that i uploaded into X:\Resource\, where X is the drive letter for the mass memory. So, after u done all this. The 3 files should be inside X:\Resource\Fonts

Here's the link for the 3 fonts that i uploaded: http://hotfile.com/dl/80181197/7b8579b/Fon...efault).7z.html

Guyz, i have a few questions on Nokia OVI Maps. Firstly, I'm using Maxis so i would like to know the cost of using a-gps. Is it like 10cents per use or for every kb that u use?

Secondly, do u have to updates the map? if so, then how do i update the map?

Thank you ^^
