after run through one time, will manage to use it.
but for a newbie, may not have experience to sign apps.
When sawing the UI so much words, options , and complicated, they will confuse and scare.
Most of ppls want a simplest way when 1st time test a thing:)

my very 1st signing attempt was using it...lolz...man I am pitiful..well you can post mine as a Moderate User method...Codyx had a simpler method

actually Codyx's same as the OPDA signsistool which i currently stated at 1st page, the different just in english version. Yup, this is the simplest i ever saw.
BTW, i will still post yours under "How to sign application (.sis) - advanced version". Because i found this much better than the origin one.
Let the forumers choose what they prefer.

actually simple way is get cert. and key.

Install signsis.sisx into your phone

copy cert. and key. into phone

then opensis from app manager

then select cert. and key. walla done

Next time wanna sign any app just select app and press GO it sign and done

This phone i buy 2nd hand..
I just want to remove the {SKULLOMANIA} V07.01 Edition firmware..
How to remove it??.. I wan my phone to function normally..
It also has annoying boot screen and sound like window 7 boot up..
I wan my X6 to function normally with nokia hand boot screen..

I tried to do hard reset and restore factory setting..
But the SKULLOMANIA firmware still have inside..
Do you know how to remove it or format it?

I don't know if you all have this bug as well, but when you put .m4a or AAC files into the X6, the music player can't read the meta data...comes out as nothing

be sure that you install the nokia ovi suite before transferring. that will ensure all format will be run or converted to the right format or resolution.

Ovi Suite won't run on my PC...I wonder why

maybe not a bug. i do remember last time i use1 converter to convert MP3, can play at PC, but cant play at X6.
i thought is x6 problem, but actually cant play at my 5700 as well.
so make sure u the file is supportable.

btw, why ur PC cant support Ovi Suite? whats ur pc spec?

had the same issue with my work notebook. install with nokia pc suite is better then. works well.

no la. issue with software. ovi suite has so many bugs tried it in win7 and even xp. same issue. so my desktop is ovi suite.
notebook is pc suite. both are very decent spec.

so far no problem in my HP mini. but i dun like its RAM hunger..so prefer PC suite as well

Basically, Pc Suite and Ovi Suite both got differences.

It says that i have the lastest firmware..

Can I bring the phone to nokia care center? But the phone is AP one.. Will they charge for removing the firmware?
And how much the cost?
