Guys, may I know this x6 phone can disconnect network while the phone is on "ON" mode? Meaning we can on the phone during in-flight to enjoy music, game and vid on our phone while we flying or have any software to stop network connection? Thanks.

Yes. It can. No need use 3rd party software to stop the network connection, just go profile > offline mode

kk, i've tried to reedit the system fonts with the default font obtained from Z: drive. And now i see that it is finally using the default system fonts. Well, i think i've edited all the system fonts. If u guyz find any fonts that are different from the system default, please tell me and i'll see what i can do. But for now, i think it is fixed.

Well, here's the link: http://hotfile.com/dl/80181197/7b8579b/Fon...efault).7z.html

well. what is the different between S60SC_C, S60TCHK_C, S60ZDIGI (u uploaded) with s60snr, s60ssb, s60tsb, S60ZDIGI(from daily mobile forum?
Just the name different only?
*
s60snr, s60ssb, s60tsb and s60ZDIGI is actually fonts for another nokia phone(I think its for s60v3 type of phones but not sure >.<). I found out from the Z: drive that for Nokia x6, the font names are different, so i renamed the files to the names that Nokia x6 uses. And well, like stated previously, i edited the system default fonts to match.. the default font.. haha.

I just simply put the 4 fonts into my X6's resource/font folder and it won't start...I suggest you don't try it.
BTW, if I put the fonts into c:\resource\fonts, will it mean when I do hard reset everything will clear?

No, the 4 fonts are for a different type of nokia phone. It wont work on x6. Use the 3 fonts from the link that i posted before. I've edited it to work with x6. And no, u dun need to do a hard reset. I think this is how it works, when u turn on ur phone, it will 1st check ur mass memory if there are any fonts to be used inside Resource\Fonts, if not, it will juz use the default fonts found inside its Z: drive(which is hidden unless u use Y-Explorer). So, u dun need to do a hard reset on ur phone. Just delete the "Fonts" folder inside ur mass memory and everything will turn back to normal. I've been using the fonts for a few days already and didn't encounter any issues or problems.

Hmm.. i think what u did was u put the fonts inside ur phone's C: drive. ur supposed to put it inside ur mass memory(which usually is the E: drive unless ur computer gave it another letter), not the C: drive of ur phone. Just connect ur phone to ur computer in mass storage mode, and then put the "Fonts" folder that i uploaded into X:\Resource\, where X is the drive letter for the mass memory. So, after u done all this. The 3 files should be inside X:\Resource\Fonts

Here's the link for the 3 fonts that i uploaded: http://hotfile.com/dl/80181197/7b8579b/Fon...efault).7z.html

Ovi Map 3.06 Beta New Update

Updated: 03/11/2010
Version: v3.06(134)
For your information, previous version is v3.06(78)

New:
  • Traffic flow: In Drive mode, a number of improvements to the traffic flow colour scheme and layout.
Known Issue:
  • Map Loader or Nokia Maps Updater: These applications will NOT work with Ovi Maps v3.06. Please use Ovi Suite instead.
  • Satellite view in India: The satellite view is currently not available in India.
  • Share via email: On some S60 5.0 devices, we have noticed that share via email may not work. However the share via SMS works fine.
  • Collections: Collections are no longer visible in maps.ovi.com, but they are synchronized and still usable in Ovi Maps for mobile.
  • GPS &/or data connection left open: We have noticed that sometimes on S60 5.0 devices, the GPS and/or data connection is left open even after closing Ovi Maps

For Beta Version you had to state clearly....because some people will consider it as Official Launches

For Ovi Maps 3.06....i had encountered several bugs on v3.06(78) but wonder it was solved in v3.06(134)

NOTE: Those who are not Symbian Savvy are not recommended to do this Update as Beta's version will sometimes do harm to your phone and uninstallation or updating to a newer version afterward will might cause you inconvenience smile.gif

Regards
