garmin no need money, unless u open A-GPS.
Locked to satelite means found your location. u still din answer my question

For Ovi Map, if succesfully locked to satelite, the red dot at LHS will stop blinking, the top will show the location and no more "searching for position".
If ur Ovi Map really locked to satelite and stil no map detail, probably u din have the map.

i have no time oso.

make sure ur Ovi Map is version 3.04 or 3.06 , not 3.03
then use Ovi Suite to update the map.

last time i oso fail few times...keep trying until success.
