As been X6 owner for 3 months, I still unable to use the GPS !!!!!


It just load at "Waiting for GPS" and nothing happen. Who has a guide how to use the GPS ?

using Ovi Map? did u open A-gps? i recommend should open A-Gps. Even i noe will get charge abit. arround 10KB

I been using this X6 16gb last three days, what i found that it is laggy in certain application but overall the performance is ok as i dont use multi tasking job in X6 as i always worked with my notebook. Only for sms, listen mp3 songs and calls, even games sometimes due to my work nature.

My opinion , i will keep this phone for next 6 to 8 months b4 i change phone to N8, which i believe by then the price of N8 will be quite reasonable.

If you did not turn on the AGPS, the lock on X6 should take around 5-10 minutes but somehow in Garmin, I put offline mode also around a minute can lock

the battery like drain very fast..
very less sms.. can say no call in a day...

within one day nia batt dry d then phone off automatically..

Do check if ur Bluetooth or Wifi is On. do the following changes:

1. Settings - Connectivity - Network - Network Mode = GSM
2. Settings - Connectivity - Wireless LAN - OFF
3. Location - Positioning - Positioning Server - Always ASK.

install Battery Extender. handy application to take care of ur battery Consumption.

hi, i have been using my x6 for 2 months & recently my phone dun give any response when i touch de screen, especially when typing sms. I tried turn off all apps tat is running & restart phone but de result is still de same.

my phone still have plenty of free memory, around 80 free space. din install all de high end apps like PJP. use for phone call, taking photos, sms, browse net, normal use only.

is there anything i can do to fix it or just sent for warranty claim?? i find it to be very frustrating sometimes...

hang? even press the red,green and menu button oso no response?

tat 3 button got response, but when i thouch de screen no response. sometimes it will type by it self or go out to homescreen. like posses by ghost

Try to hard reset the phone first and see got any changes or not .

if still got problem then run to NCC.

Hard Reset means to Format the Phone. Follow these steps :
Switch-off the phone (Remove the battery and re-insert it, if necessary). Now Press and HOLD the GREEN (Call) key, RED (Call end) key and the Camera-capture key SIMULTANEOUSLY. While still pressing the above three keys press the power On/Off key, hold them until phone boots up.
It will ask for your pin code . Enter 12345 (default) or if u have changed it then enter ur Code.

Lastly if it doesnt work then send it to NCC - Nokia care Center

by format means all data saved will be lost? so i need to back up it first rite??

Hard reset - This option restores the original operating system from the ROM.
Formats the C: partition and deletes all data.

better to back up all necessary data in E drive

Guys , I am trying to install TTPod , but it doesn't work , I keep getting errors.

the error says "unable to install protected application from untrusted supplier"
Even I signed it , using FreeSigner I still get errors.
