yup i know,but the new version released on 22/10/10..so i thought u didn't mention about the new updates..

what do u meant?
if u wanna update the maps,download the newer OVI maps installer...
then install to your mass storage..it's will replace the old version on your phone and offcourse it will delete the old maps also..
once u completed the installation,run the OVI Maps and u will see no maps at all..
so,download the Nokia Suite from Nokia Site and follow the instructions.They will guide u to update ur maps completely...
Maps will be update via PC by connect ur phone with PC Suite method

I'm using both of garmin and ovi map.currently have 2 maps on garmin.
-Garmin City Navigator SingaporeMalaysia NT
-Asia Pacific 2008

So i thought,both applications have their own pros and cons.But I like Garmin more than OVI Maps.

but i thought,3.06 beta is more details than the older version..take a look at it..

i have a problem with swype too....since i'm disabled the swype method in my X6 for the first installation..and then enabled itt back,it's not working anymore...

my qwerty keypad didn't detect swype....even i try to remove the previous version and replace it with swype 1.0(12936)...the problem still remain.

tq....got another problem..i can't access the apps. manager..."always said memory full.close some application and try again".
even i closed so many apps. and got 46mb free,still can access it.....any solution?

70 application i guess...games,tools,utilities..

i think so..now i'm figure to remove some games which i didn't play quietly..
becoz of this memory shortage...N8 always poison me....

i used it before..but since it took to much memory,i'm remove it..
and now using Tsunami Orange with HTC themes..wonderful..hehe

gmasupp.img i give for Asia Pacific 2008 (sliders7) and for malaysia/singapore map,i use Singapore/Malaysia NT 2010.20 and renamed to gmapprom.img..

also have gmapbmap.img for Worldwide Roads Basemap (2.00)

ONLY three names are available so as to be recognized by Garmin: gmapprom.img gmapsupp.img or gmapsup2.img. (Gmapbmap.img is the base map of whole world so don't use this name except if you don't want a base map). so use one of these names for the maps. So only three different named maps can be used at the same time.

u can try Advance Blocker(ofcoz i'm using ehem2 version),or if u just want to block limited numbers....download Best Blacklist LITE from OVI Store....free.

u have to install v5.00.50 first..and then update to v5.00.60..

noted that the new version of Garmin is no longer supporting symbian. Last European Official version was 5.00.50. Taiwan team of Garmin subsidiary made an update for asian market known as v5.00.60.

last week....i got weird problem....my battery drain so fast....
can't last for 5 or 12 hours....always need to recharge when i wake up in the morning...
i thougt my battery condemn oredi...

then,the new problem coming...lagging os & can't open certain apps....
so i decide to change the theme since i thought the slow and lagged OS maybe because of that theme..
...i set to the default theme.....and restart the phone..

suddenly, my problem solved...very funny....the 'FreeSmokeSIXY_gnokkia' theme i download from OVI is the culprit,
the hidden parasite....eat my battery,suck until drains.....lol..
