am i able to install ubuntu that is perfectly work in my pc that contain window xp?

can i install ubuntu in another hard disk where i have window xp on another hard disk

dual boot?how?

if it is possible to install ubuntu linux in another hard disk i will go get 1 new hard disk

because i wana use linux to host server
