Hi, im currently having a problem with my Ubuntu.
After i log in, i got a message shows me "failed to initialize HAL".
Because of this problem, i cant use wireless, i cant use pen drive.
Why it become like this?? How to solve it?? Thanks

Between, im using Ubuntu in XPS M1210

Hmm.... not too sure.
May be you can have a try.
For me, if i found the firefox really cannot load flash website(process too high and come out black screen. lol), i will go for firfox 2.

After install you have to edit samba.conf file. Put the workgroup name and other setting that you want.

You got try edit the samba configuration file?
Until now im still not very sure how to setup the samba. lol... May be you can refer to some websites.
Lastime i done edi, but sometime window can see the my share folder, sometime cannot.
Then now i also lazy to setup edi.

My m1210 still ok. It will get heat when in heavy processing. But the heat still cannot beat my friend's HP laptop.
My friend one will get heat although the laptop in normal processing.
Firefox make me headache. Alway run in high process when i opening some blog or whatever with some pictures. Haiz...

My firefox also alway crash. When i try to go www.meebo.com, sure auto close one.
But when i watch video in youtube or do other things, it will not crash.

ya i got think of emesene.
But when i login that time, it alway go black screen and wait very long also no respond.
I used that before. Lastime dont have such problem one. I think after go to ubuntu 8.04 then canot use edi.
Now im using pidgin, and my msg alway cant send out. Haiz

Haha i finally can use back Emesene edi.
Lastime cannot use one. Thanks for remind me to try the emesene again.
But i still cant solve the meebo prob. I use Epiphany Web Browser also will crash. Same as in firefox. Haiz...

You want install g++ package?
The command is sudo apt-get install g++

 

Change to:
