just FYI:
i encountered same problem b4, solved it about one month ago, using the same model that you have, only have sound when using headphones, i bet you have wifi problem too.., the trick is you need to update your kernel to 2.6.32.24 ., bcause it recognize the wrong hardwarehelp needed in solving the matter....
