QUOTE(de4thscythell @ Aug 24 2010, 11:26 PM) I've installed Windows 7, then Ubuntu, then format Windows 7, reinstall Windows 7 back I'm dual-booting them now Have you consider to use virtualization if your hardware supporting it, and get enough capacity of RAM and harddisk? eg: use Windows 7 as the sole OS inside your laptop. Then install VMware Server 2.02 and create virtual *nix distro such as Ubuntu 10.04 or PC-BSD 8.1 I'm not a fan of dual-boot actually.. To each his own preference I think.. QUOTE(de4thscythell @ Aug 28 2010, 10:42 AM) No. I never consider using virtualization. Never try that. Dunno how Somehow, I prefer dual boot Believe me, virtualization nowadays a norm for modern computers and servers. If you have time, spend free time to research on this. For starter, you can try use Oracle VirtualBox which is free and easy to use. VMware Server 2.02 also free, if you could get little workaround to run it on Windows Vista or later. Even VMware ESXi 4.1 is free, too.
