guys, n00b in ubuntu here.
I'm considering to install ubuntu in my old acer lappy, but the current problem with that lappy (currently on XP OS) is blue screen error, which said something like fatal memory error and restart ocassionally, probably 2-3 times if i use the laptop for 4-5 hours.

So, my questions here: will the error msg appear if I install ubuntu on my laptop?
