i'm using ubuntu hardy, my wireless card is broadcom bcm4312 (rev 01) n got it working with b43 module.. i can search n connect to wireless networks, everything works fine, except there is no AP association information in iwconfig.. i'm currently connected to my wireless network, however this is the output..



any ideas how to fix this?

I've gone through literally the whole forum and found this is the best place to seek solution.
I think this question's been asked a million times but I just can't seem to get a proper solution.

Problem : Can't run Compiz Fusion.
OS : Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty
CPU Spec : P4 2.4, 2GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128MB.

I can't seem to run compiz fusion. I've tried to edit the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file but got myself into more trouble than before. I've checked that my vga card driver is installed correctly, using Ubuntu's version, running xgl.
I've tried changing the xorg.conf file where Composite "1". However when I run compiz, here's the problem:

Anyone can help me out here? I've started using linux back in the RedHat days, back when Optical mouse didn't even exists. So, I do know abit about linux. However, since XP came out, I've stop fooling around with linux, until Ubuntu came out.

Since then I've started with Ubuntu 7, trying out Mint, Fedora, Mandrake (now Mandriva), OpenSuse. I still find Ubuntu more attractive maybe due to the popularity. So anyway, appreciate if some one can help me out here. start from basic also never mind. I'm keen to learn.

can anyone teach me how to install display driver for ati hd3200?

and how to install app?i tried to install mozilla flash plugin and codec to play vids,but this is the outcome
