I use it to hit the traps and rhomboids, not much of shoulders involved when I do it. Mind muscle connection ftw.

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Dec 11 2010, 12:28 PM) o0o Wth... I tried ur 40 sets total today, barely made it back alive. lol. Hard to maintain good form after so many sets too. Really working hard to bring up my lats now. Bro did you see the thread about anabol? That dumb f***. Less than 2 months of training and considering juicing. And omg, sore back. Trained with the juicers at my gym. 40 sets total. LOL! |

QUOTE(moe81 @ Dec 15 2010, 12:07 PM) U got the words right outta my mouth bro. I'm glad i share the same opinion as you. for u being the big guy in here. What I heard from a lot of local bodybuilders is that they skip pct and replace it with lots of coconut water. They claims it helps and they have no side effects from juicing. A proper pct is more complex than juicing. just some food for thought. |

Kasey has some points although i cannot fully agree with him with everything. I binge on mcd's and burgers a lot of the time and i dont get fat. You need a calorie surplus to gain weight and 2000 calories a meal is no problem esp during bulking season. For ppl who wants to cut its a different story but binging once in a while woudnt hurt. In the end it all boils down to what works for u. Are u getting bigger or are u still the same small person u started off training? There are too many keyboard warriors here criticizing what is right or wrong, but how many dare post pics in the progress section? My 2 cents.

QUOTE(theCrab @ Jan 12 2011, 08:42 PM) guys, seriously i need some advise for my back workout I had the same problem with you where my back is lagging, but now its much better. I don't feel much from barbell and machine rows, maybe I don't have the mind muscle connection but I do close grip V bar rows and V bar cable rows which gives me good back roms and significant results. My back routine for now is:I am lack of back thickness,So I put 2 times back workout with high volume in a week I used to Monday-Back machine row 6 sets-12-15 reps dumbell row 6-7 sets 12-15 reps barbell row 6-7 set 12-15 reps lat pull down 6 set 12-15 reps Thursday-combine with shoulder t-bar row 6 sets 12-15 reps lat pull down 6 set 12-15 reps dumbell row 6-7 sets 12-15 reps Deadlift 8 sets ,15 reps, getting heavy weight and reduce reps until 5 reps I NEED ADVISE PLEASE ! ADVISE ADVISE ADVISE ! I so desperately want to bring up the lagging part my back looks like flat 1 set pullups for some stretching/ warmup Lat pulldown- 2 sets warmup, 5 worksets V bar rows- 1 set warmup, 4-5 worksets Cable rows- 4-5 worksets Deadlift- 2 sets warmup, 2-3 worksets I go pretty heavy on my lifts and I stretch my lats a lot during rest periods so the total number of sets I do isn't that much and I still have a great pump and DOMs the next day. I throw in a few sets of dumbbell rows if I still have the strength sometimes. But for back training, I emphasize a lot on stretching and establishing the mind muscle connection. |

Wth is a "buff" physique? Different people have different perceptions. I think common sense will tell you that if you only eat well on ur workout days and you eat like crap on your rest days, you will still look like crap right?

I just went CNY clothes shopping today and I realized I can't buy any shorts that fits my waist anymore. My waist is size 34 but I had to buy a size 38- 40 to fit my thighs. Anyone has this problem? And where sells nice pants/ jeans that are plus sized? Thx!

I can't fit into jeans anymore, plus the trend now is the fitting type of cutting for both jeans and shorts... which makes it all the more tougher, gosh. I think my mom would be pissed if I told her I needed tailor made shorts.

Anyone here trains at KakiGym? I think imma join there permanently seeing how the other gym's dumbbells only go up until 25kgs. The rates there are pretty decent I think.
Just back from there, they having promotion until 25th of this month. RM650 for yearly membership including registration and a free shirt. =) Confirm joining. This post has been edited by John91: Feb 2 2011, 06:17 PM |
