Well, if you choose the weakest race to play, then yeah, you're going to have a hard time winning, right?

I don't think FruitDealer's triumph in GSL is a good indicator that Zerg has elevated itself out of the weakest / hardest to play race level. A glimpse through the GSL statistics would easily reveal the fact that the semi-final almost became a TTTT metal-fest.

If you compare all 3 races' changes from their BW days, Zerg really suffered a lot. The fact that its units literally crawl when they're not on creep is a giant nerf to its mobility.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Zerg player in both BW & SC2 so inb4 Zerg-fanboi.

well if u ask me, toss's early game is the most vulnerable now to zerg with the zealot 5sec nerf (though the recent IEM NY showed some creative play for PvT)...
6pool openings are really pretty good (especially if u knw to micro ur scouting drone to prevent a wall-in) just like hw fruity 6-pooled inca...

btw GSL2 day1: 7 terran 7 toss 2 zerg (idra and phoenix)

Not to say it's weak but maybe just a different style of playing.

Zerg units are meant to be massed only to be effective enough. 1 drone/zergling/roach/hydralisk/mutalisk/corruptor/infestor/ultralisk/broodlord can't do much to affect the game unlike 1 thor/carrier/BC/mothership/collosus(?)

to me zerg's strength is in the mobility...
going head-on with zerg is suicide...
tat's why u see fruity rarely go head-on (unless ultras LOL)...

u need to know when to store ur gas and larvae in ur builds unlike other races as the timing are very tight...

hav u guys seen the match where he uses queens against toss, lost at the end though, when he's just too underpowered with a bunch of collossus

that was an all-in...
he's suppose to win the game b4 the colossus number get high (queen have high range to air and dps as well thus is able to handle 1 or 2 colossus)...
but the toss defended very very well to hold that back...

he's not specially strong among the pros, but i just like how creative fruity is in his matches, it's a pleasure watching him play

see.. actually no such thing as this imba, thats imba. blizzard really made this game very well. (some minor patch fix ofc)

people QQ when they dont want to improve their skill. they relying on Blizzard to nerf it. instead of posting long QQ this imba, nerf this that, train harder. if not enuf, try again and again and again and again.

well cool in his interview did mention that changes are needed for PvT where terran have the upper hand (his teammate are clide and tester, known to be among the best of their races)...

assuming that there IS the next add-ons into the series in the future, how can players start saying that Toss or Zerg or even Terren is OPed or weaker?

imo its the players skills & consistency in strategy, i can give you the so called "BEST" race or whateva, one screw up, ur a goner.
