hahahohwow! so if Lee Chong Wei won Thomas Cup, All England and any other world badminton cups. We get a holiday? Nichol David won so many international championships but no holiday. This is just Asean cup for goodness sake. not like we won the world cup. no need to make a woo haa about it. So if we won World Cup will the PM declare a month holiday then?

By just declaring a hoiday out of nowhere in such short notice, this will cause some downturn in our economy as KiddoKid pointed out. The government should've considered about this before announcing this holiday. business will get affected as workers suddenly don't come to work coz its a PH and will affect the productivity of the company itself. Some politician suggests company shold pay holiday rate coz its a PH, this is even worse. Seriously its a big joke.

Sports is sports and yes we as nation should stand together to support our team. But this complimentary to the citizen is a laughable matter to the rest of the world seriously. This shows how immature the government is.

The one who won is the team. not the whole Malaysia. Complimentary should go to the team not the whole country.
