HTC HD7 is Windows Phone 7, yes?Added on October 11, 2010, 10:54 amBTW, out of topic, this phone look damn nice, HTC HD7. But it doesnt have what i want, other than the beauty factor. N8, faster come la... http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/10/htc-hd7...hrome-headed-t/ Then I head over to GSMarena.com to see the review for the OS: QUOTE Key features: I don't care about WP7 now. * Premium mobile OS (high minimum hardware requirements) * Clean, uncluttered interface with distinctive design language * Easy and thumbable user interface * Smooth operation with cool animations and transition effects * A fresh start with no legacy support needed * Backed up and developed by one of the largest software companies in the world * Excellent MS Office mobile implementation * Top-notch social integration * Excellent cloud services integration (SkyDrive, Windows Live, Xbox Live) Main disadvantages: * No system-wide file manager * No videocalling * Limited third-party apps * No Bluetooth file transfers * No USB mass storage mode * No memory card support * No multitasking * No copy paste * Too dependent on Zune software for computer file management and syncing * No music player equalisers * No Flash or Silverlight support in the web browser * No sign of free Bing maps Navigation so far * No DivX/XviD video support |

QUOTE(Andrew Lim @ Oct 12 2010, 02:39 PM) Seriously though, I guess it depends on the user. In my case, browsing on a Symbian device is a pain in the ass. Even with the new improvements on Symbian^3, it's still not as fluid or optimized as Android's or iPhone's. Is that a fair comparison? Last time I check, iPhone does not support flash at all, while the Symbian Internet browser (called webkit?) does, it may be just flash lite, but better than nothing. My not try the Opera on the N8 just to make it fair with iPhone browser? |

WP7 OS looks good actually. To me it looks "bad" because of the restriction.
Also, I think the tiles are just plain ugly. |
