when i read some post in the link u gave... it's not true the n8 is overprice..

If u buying a digital camera + video camera + GPS + WIFI + HP seperately... u wont get the same price as N8.. am i right..? -its single phone that has everything in there..-

Actually when N8 was leaked back in April i tot it is a 2.5k phone. LOL

currently the android is famous in market.. that why we can assume that the n8 price will below than 2k..

i just came back from jusco tebrau city,Johor with some great news for johorians and peeps that wanna buy N8 at johor...

1) the N8 official launch has been confirmed...it will be on October 19th(the event is for 6 days)...
2) the price is less then RM2000 for all kiosk(if some kiosk sell >RM2000,plz dont buy)...
3) the accessories for all kiosks should be the same as what given at Nokia Pavillion or The Garden...
4) pre-order & walk in purchase price will be the same...no difference...some previous posts mentioned that if walk in buy will be >rm2000...it wont happen for all nokia kiosk...
5) pre-order can be made at Jusco Tebrau City also and will get once the stock arrive which is 19/10/2010...

conclusion: Johorian/peeps that wanna buy at Johor branch,please go to Jusco Tebrau City coz Jusco Taman U charged >RM2k

didn't mention about n8 with free gift [spine case] via kiosk/retail booths....guess then don't provide it!?

If it had not been for Android phones and iPhone4, it might be selling at that price for N8.

Competition is good.

My first guess when n8 is announced with spec reveal was rm2.2k. Haha.

im not sure i should pre-order this phone or not.
i worry that the price later will be out of my budget

It will be below Rm1.9k since people who made preorder told price might be 16xx to 18xx

With the price below 2k is good for Nokia to get back in business. This year is not so good for Nokia and hope with N8 it will push up for them.

Ya. I am not the only one seeing the RM16xx price. I believe one member said to see the same price tag as I did.

Should keep a record who pre-ordered... Then can see the statistic for this thread, since it has achieved V6 before everyone start owning it..
