i don't think it will destroy iphone. as Iphone in western world (with contract) starts only from US$99.
what I like about N8

1) can plug in external drive, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse amongst other things
2) so... can connect the N8 to the HDVT/Monitor
3) so.. that way I can do surfing on my HDTV/monitor with the N8, also play games, also play movies from my external drive, play youtube video, etc...
4) Offline GPS ovi map, enough said
5) 12MP Carl Zeiss lens

actually film based SLR can beat many DSLR

i really like how i can do multitasking and text copy-paste on my old N70 symbian

but yeah, symbian is hanging on a thread
