MBA dont make you entrepreneur enuf thus they teach old stuf. More less that they dont bring new stuff out to speed up management but more of be the bottle neck of most companies.

I agree it is important, even if your company sees it one time and you got hired , then some point in the future some of the companies wanted to see it again when you're
being engaged to a project in a tender proposal.

But nevertheless, it is still your experience that counts. People just want to see RESULTS, that's all, they don't care how you do it. (translated directly from Cantonese - Fast, Nice, Perfect!)

Why didnt u take some well, business subjects in while in Uni?
Most field now looking for common ground..rather specialized niche of ppls..

Business > is skills but not just luck also> its how well you can make yr company up in important stuffs.
You can hear certain small companies, only +less than 10 starts ...n they r like powerful enuf to do big stufss..

IT makes tons of money. If you know how to pull off some tricks off your sleeve. The reality is, people are really desperate for programmers and technical people. I mean it's the world we are living in now.

We are getting so impatient. System is down for just 1 hour, and that is severe enough for people to cry and make noise enough to screw you up. More IT people is needed to support the ever demanding needs.

Someone who told me that doing IT is going to end up selling pirated DVDs in the night market 10 years ago. Today. Look who's talking!

Argh.. I hate myself when I get it started again.

But if you're clever enough to discover common IT problems that most companies face today, and find a unique solution to solve these problems efficiently, you can come up with your own product
and start making money. It's just how you look at IT from another point of view.

From my experience, I know problems exist. People just don't bother to solve it. It's just the nature of the industry.

Some progammers can end up in the management group being project managers, system analysts, implementers, etc. But, bear in mind, as you go higher, the less likely you'll be in the technical team, and lesser technical work. Some find it boring, some find it OK. Depends. Some doesn't want to continue climbing the corporate ladder just for the sake of liking to do what they loves most.
