@rx330: Thanks. Used an Olympus RC35 + Fuji Superia 200. Camera settings, don't really remember laugh.gif

manual focusing on my SLR is straining my eyes compare to focusing with RF sweat.gif maybe if you have those split image screen would be easier but mine is the matte type

@0168257061: it also have this slight magenta-ish color signature to it

I prefer MF SLR too over AF counterpart. Love the look and feel of the old school looks from it whistling.gif laugh.gif

hey, any place to get other films besides superia/xtra in kl/pj area?

Question: Do the normal shops, let's say photosun ss2 develop slides or black & white? or need specialty store to do it?

Till now, all I've used are superias and a cross processed elitechrome (don't like it shakehead.gif )

@ifer: I have no qualms about the slight magenta color cast in that pic as I kinda like how it turned out to be. So, didn't bother removing it during PP.

@yoong: Noted, but I've yet to try on some B&W films.

no need use film cameras, after years of using my dslr I'm used to holding camera this way until when I use my friend's epl-1 or any digicam, there are times when I'll hold it to my eye and wonder where is the viewfinder laugh.gif

there is something about the film look that is not the perfect sharpness or the noiseless photo rolleyes.gif

@yukihatsu and eiraku: I have a RC35 too. Pretty small and handy at times flex.gif For metering, I say just have a smart phone with a light meter app nearby. My best companion for manual cams laugh.gif

Focusing is pretty easy too as its a range finder. no need squinting my eye to look at the prism screen on my srt-101 which sometimes make me go rclxub.gif sweat.gif

Yupe, those phone light meter is not really accurate but better than nothing as my in-cam meter died dy. Or maybe the new replacement batt ran out of juice since its nearing its expiry date. In the end I guess it is up to the shop to compensate for my error when developing. So far so good.

Got no coconut photo for Thaipusam but got Thean Hou Gong tongue.gif oh, please ignore my friend posing laugh.gif
