Introduction

Good day to all the reader.Today,i would like to present my own OC review of Corsair Dorminator 2000mhz CL8 4GB Kit.This is one of the higher end ram in Corsair lineup tongue.gif
Well,as we all enthusiast know it,Corsair been making Dorminator Series of ram from the era of DDR 2(Circa 06-07) and Dorminator GT since I7 era(Circa 08-09).
Let move on,shall we??

To start off,let us look at some pic of the ram first biggrin.gif

The picture shown above is the retail packaging of Corsair Dorminator 2000mhz CL8 4GB Kit.It come in hard plastic shell with two separate box for both ram and airflow kit.

GPU:Gigabyte Geforce GTX260 SOC 896MB
CPU Cooler:Corsair A50 + Yate Loon High Speed Fan
HDD:WD 320AAKS
Case:Enlight Lian Li OEM with 1x 12cm intake and 1x 12cm exhaust
Ram Cooler:Corsair Dorminator Airflow Kit
PSU:Corsair HX520W
OS:Win 7 x64/Win 7 x86/Win XP SP3 x86

Testing Method
The review will used Super PI 32M to test the ram for stability.Note,Super PI 32M is not a stress testing tool so the result shown is meant it is good for Super PI 32M and that it.The actual review will be up sometime in November cause I don't have time to do Super PI 32M test and voltage scaling at the moment.Instead,I will have to make do with Random Test i make for dial in 24/7 setting/BCLK testing first. icon_rolleyes.gif

but where is the 2000 8-9-8-24?? at the lowest vdimm?

hmm looking at ure voltages 2k c8 should be around the 1.55-1.56v

dunno never tried i3's. just wondering.
this are rev 7.1A i guess
and this board will be on this sat??

u overvolted everything and didnt spend time on scaling before u bantai with extreme cooling

Tested and it just won't go past 218 219bclk
Hicookie tested and said the same thing
