i pretty much use body shop's vanilla oil for regular use every day. and the l'occitane cherry blossom for dinners.

the other 2 that i like:

elizabeth arden's pretty
queen latifah's queen

i did like the smell of marc jacob's daisy but doubt i'd get it because i prefer to get an EDP like Pretty smile.gif

Ladies, need your help here.
I want to buy a perfume for a lady. For budget around RM150-200, what is the best buy?

Thanks

The world of perfumes is interesting and yet confusing. Quite often many people mix EDT with perfumes and perfumes with parfums. EDT has the lowest content and perfumes have a better concentration.EDT lasts 2-3 hours and perfumes last 6-8 hours. Parfums then are the best with higher concentrations. The other drama is the price and packaging. Most often people "ignorantly" pay a fortune for the EDT, thinking they are getting the best. The other deception is Brands and Names that seem to have an elusive factor. I am a perfumes consultant and I will say that there is no such thing as "the ideal". On request I will bring you what I have from Le Reve Australia. Our HQ is in Shah Alam. You can have a 30-40 minutes discovery session at hoe or office............. and be surprised by the price, quality, service and the variety of fragrances. Call 016-3712762 for K Thiruselvam.

I kinda want to get an opinion on what perfume I should get. I NEVER, EVER used a perfume before. My bf and friends always ask if I do but that's actually my hair shampoo that I've been using since I was 8... so I guess the smell stuck at my hair now.

Uh the thing is whenever I try to buy a perfume, I can't stand the smell. It smell so HEAVY to me. I'm not sure if it's because I'm smelling it right from the bottle but I just can't stand it.

I personally HATE sweet scented stuff so sweet perfume isn't for me. I prefer it a little 'sourish?' then one of my friend asked me to use a toilet perfume instead since it's lemon / lime. But no not so sour! Jeez why would I wanna smell like a toilet...

Because my bf is coming back next week after being apart for like 5 or 6 months? I kinda wanna look and smell good in front of him... so yeah I wanna get a perfume sad.gif (Is it even necessary to get a perfume to smell good?)

by sour i think u mean fruity smells? it would be easy to find a perfume for you then, as most perfumes in the market have floral fruity smell biggrin.gif
maybe you can try dkny perfumes, celebrity perfumes like beyonce etc, or maybe just a body mist from victoria's secret if you have a tight budget.

yes yes nod.gif i'll go and check it out then laugh.gif

I didn't dare to like go to stores and ask for opinion from the sales girls because (obviously they gonna try their best to sell off their products) and I'm one of those people that didn't dare to say no when people keep pushing me to buy something doh.gif

Is there any 'rose' scented perfume that's not heavy? I kinda like rose too blush.gif

For rose-scented perfumes, I love Stella by Stella McCartney wub.gif
dont know if it will smell heavy to you, I like it because it smells like beautiful roses. many other rose perfumes have that strong alcoholic smell which give me headaches such as Rose The One by Dolce&Gabbana sweat.gif
it's hard to find though, can only buy online I guess. maybe you can try bvlgari rose perfume.

btw for fruity perfume, u can also try dior addict 2, the pink bottle, quite popular among girls smile.gif

DKNY Apple's decent too.

Or if you can bite the bullet, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle definitely rocks.

Personal preferences, no doubt but it smells decent to me.
