Which is better then? Is 212 better because the contact surface is flat for maximum heat transfer?

Hyper 212+ is much much better than Hyper 212 in every aspect.
Better looking.
Better performance.
Lower price.
You can mount 2 fans on Hyper 212+ while for Hyper 212 you can only mount 1 fan.

That fan got better pressure. But rated CFM is lower (many people say the LED fan 90CFM is fake) but oh well...

I added the Blademaster because that's the fan that comes with the 212+ anyway. Works great.

Do those have LED lights? it looks like it doesn't.
and those are standard speed right? as in, no varying speed? i'm looking for a 2nd fan also..

why you want LED fan? Most of them are just so-so in terms of performance

main difference between the two is the base. the 212 + is a direct touch base. the 212 is a not.

I'd recommend you get another ac 12 pwm, link them together and use in a push pull configuration.

otherwise then I would use the ac12 pwm as a push/blow fan and the TC as a pull.

but really, try to get same fans to get the most out of your cooler.
