actually.... i dont think it wld b such a problem.......

if its a non-muslim neighbourhood.... and the pig is kept clean, doesnt smell, doesnt make noise etc.... the owner is resposible and doesnt cause a nuisance to neighbours.... dont simply bring out to public areas... i dont see a problem with keeping a mini pet pig. personally i am a Christian with a pet snake... my family members are super against this cos to them snake = devil, but they now tolerate it with condition that the snake cannot leave my room and i need to hide it from my other relatives. so... im sure with certain t&c and guidelines pet pigs could be allowed one day.

i mean.... we can practice tolerance and have a non-halal corner in supermarkets, and have pig farms in Malaysia where pigs r bred for consumption.... so can this tolerance extend to having pigs as house pets? i think pot bellied pigs are awesome!!

but i suppose.... dont go looking for trouble getting a pig when ur living in a muslim neighbourhood..... i think thats recipe for disaster... >< my both neighbours r muslim, and out of respect for them i dont get any dogs even tho i would really like to.....
