I think I'll turn this thread into a breastfeeding support group. My bub is fully-breastfed (not a drop of formula in her body) but it didnt come easy. Will work on this soon.

There's actually a link between ginger overdose and jaundice.

My baby was breastfed within 30 mins after birth and every 2 hours thereafter (imagine how tired I was after giving birth sweat.gif). No jaundice biggrin.gif

I think more Chinese moms prefer formula than Malay moms, hence could be a contributing factor too. Pile in all the ginger and herbs...
