Details of the complaint :

THIS GUY IS A CONMEN!!! (As he said, it's my wish to call him a CONMEN!!!)

I told him about my requirement:
2 spotlight (including BRIGHT WHITE halogen bulb?), 1 timer

And he replied me:
"the tungsten halogen you can go buy WHATEVER COLOR you like cause its standard size"

Testing time, he bought the warm light to test in front of us (yah, he knew he can't get the white color, but he never informed us when selling)

So, I end up
1. Wasting money buying his spotlight which is off-spec (but he said can meet my requirement when selling to me)
2. Wasting time & energy, went to more than 5 lighting shops to look for WHITE BULB, all of them said this only comply to WARM LIGHT (also can't find the bulb he described in Tesco) (^*&%&$#&)
3. Sms this guy after sales and i told him i will pursue this matter cuz he is a CONMEN. After TWO DAYS he replied "I'm not a shop, your wish"

After this incident with me, on 2 Oct 2010, he posted a new link and also stated "This is not a light shop. Make sure you know what you are buying and don't come back to me and cry. In case you are not happy with this arrangement, please look somewhere else."

So, what I am trying to say to all of you here is:

BEWARE!!! THIS IS A CONMEN. HE SELL THINGS THAT HE NOT SURE ABOUT THE SPEC. COMMIT TO CUSTOMER ON NON-EXISTING STUFF OR SPARE PARTS. AFTER SALES, HE JUST DON'T CARE WHETHER YOU BOUGHT THE RIGHT OR WRONG THING CUZ WHAT HE COMMITTED TO YOU, HE WILL END UP SAYING TO YOU "THIS IS NOT A SHOP"!!!

TO IAMLOST, GO TO HELL!!!! I KNOW YOU ARE NOT A SHOP, BUT YOU ARE STILL SELLING THINGS TO PEOPLE. IT'S YOUR CHOICE TO BE A RESPONSIBLE SELLER OR NOT. I AM PISSED-OFF WITH WHAT YOU COMMITTED IS NOT TRUE.

I WANT A REFUND ON SPOTLIGHT ONLY, TIMER IS OK, AND YOU JUST IGNORE.

(I will continue to bug this iamlost until he decides to refund the spotlight money to me RM100)

In his post, he replied my comments by saying to forumers:
"it is not my fault that someone bought the wrong stuff. item tested working in front of them."

Yes, it was tested because I insists them to be tested. (At first he refused).
Then, he agreed to test but he bought the WARM LIGHT BULB instead of WHITE BULB.

He has hidden the truth that WHITE BULB does not exists at all.
He has no rights to say I BOUGHT THE WRONG STUFF, BECAUSE OF HIM HIDING THE TRUTH AND COMMIT THE WRONG THING.

if she can't find a bulb, why blame me because she do not to know where to find. and of all, it has been clearly stated these are from buyout. if you can't find your way around getting your parts, go buy from a light shop. i'm selling items a fraction of their price, don't expect me to solve all your problems. go figure yourself. AND OF ALL, ALL THE ITEMS ARE WORKING FINE AND THE WHITE BULB DOES EXIST. i even FOC her an osram halogen, which is supposed to be paid by her because she wanted to test the lights. threatening ppl on the 1st line of sms is not polite.

for those who wants to buy at a fraction of the price can get from me. if not, please look somewhere else. i'm not going to reply regarding this matter anymore.

At first, you only talk about halogen bulb. After my explanation, you knew for white color effect, need metal halide.

You mentioned the bulbs can be found in tesco. My husband can't find any, all yellow, no white.
After that, my husband have looked all over lighting shops in Puchong.
Can't find the suitable one!!! Don't you understand? He went to more than 5 shops still can't find.
You looked for amazon? Look in local shops and talk to them first !!!! (As you said, you are also not a light expert)

And if really the halogen bulb you found in amazon is fit to your spotlight, please check the spec.

THIS IS MEANT FOR AQUARIUM!!! How can you sell me spotlight sized for aquarium and tell me for my commercial sign board is suitable?

Totally undersized. See the picture below. And compare!!! (There's another spotlight from signboard next door, size is equal to the white one)


I never asked for FOC on the bulb, my husband wanted to return to you the halogen bulb but you said "I give give you free lah".

What ever happened has happened.
I have my life to go on. My career, my kids, husband and parents to take care.
This seller has made his own decision not to support his customer and call them NO BRAINS, CRY BABIES, SPOON FED etc
Does anyone of you have confident to buy things from him?

As long as the spotlight he sold to me is still in my house, I will classify him as the CONMEN for the first in my life...

As far as I knew, halogen and metal halide are 2 different bulbs and it cannot be fit into the same casing. And if it’s not mistaken, so far the halogen only have warm color and white color bulb does not exist.
I think this seller "Iamlost", you should responsible to what you do..you are actually hiding the truth and selling the lamp which cannot meet someone specification.

If I were given the choice, I won't buy from this guy...not trustworthy..

I m definitely will not buy. will put him in the list.
