Got my package from HomeDec on RikeCool... RM4.95 per sqft. FOC to peel of old film. Not sure if this film is good but I just wanna give a try. Tested the heat rejection and it was good.

Before Homedec, I wanted to purchase from garage sales too.

Me also don't know how good is Rike Cool, but since the company around my area and they provided 5yrs warranty on peeling, I do not mind to try out after the demo.

Changing the entire glass screen is out of my budget at the moment.

Hi Bro Max, will arrange them to fix in 3 weeks time.

Once done, will post the details and maybe some close-up pics.

Below is the brochure which I have scanned front and back. Don't know why Picasa resized the pics.

Another thing, sorry about the Rike Cool thingy. Rike Cool is for cars, while Glassbrella is for homes. blush.gif

Possible... and the best part about those company is that... whenever any peeling/bubble spotted, I will make them come and redo the affected panel. Just like what my brother in-law did to V-Kool installers. One small bubble... here they come. smile.gif

Just to share further that any old film removal will be charged RM250 per job. Mine is waived due to the event promo.

I can't remember the rejection percentage, but you can call the number in the screenshot above. Salesguy = Jerry

What I tested, pretty satisfying for me when he switched on the infra-red lamp. It was hot like hell... but a layer of glassbrella will feel differently. Immediately I got poisoned to buy from the booth.

Hopefully I can also feel the same effect after they stick it 3 weeks from now.
