I have an Xbox360 arcade, i find it abit troublesome as some games require a harddrive to have features like replay etc, and dlc requires installation to the hardrive.
Thus i would like to know the cheapest option for a Xbox360 harddrive. Roughly how much would it cost & what is the capacity? Is there any specific type of drive it accepts?

If you don't need such a big storage option just use any spare usb thumbdrive as storage media. Your save games and dlc can be saved there. Cheers.

your xbox 360 is the old "phat" unit? if so you can check with those who changed into higher capacity HDD whether they can sell their old one. check with shops that has used stuff maybe you can find a 20GB or 60GB one.
