What u mean by external GC? Dedicated GC?
15" not much choice for your budget, if u can wait next year will have new processors which gives better performance overall in terms of speed and graphics, etc

Asus has better graphics card while Lenovo has better processors.
Depends on your usage whether more on gaming or processing powers.
Asus priced at RM1899 while Lenovo at RM2099.
Both are 14"

That range better get Acer 4820TG or Dell Inspiron 15r, Asus will have relatively lower specs in that price range.

If only Dota, of course low specs GPU is sufficient.
Even my 4 year old Toshiba with ancient GPU can handle it smoothly.
Since the warranty haven't expire, better use it at the moment and wait for Sandy Bridge next year if u want to get a new laptop.
