yo...... need those sifu helps..i wan to get a netbook... small slim light weight but got power a bit so no need wait long for apps to load. for my wifey....
1. Brand. any good brand
2. Budget. 1 - 1.5k
3. Specs. Intel Atom
4. Size. 10 inch
that's basically any netbook. Apps load time is affected by hard drive, unless you're willing to pay for the ssd, its not gonna be blazing fast. If you want there are dual core netbooks (dell's M101z or something like that)
but if you just want a normal one... just get a design that your wife likes.
Also considered getting tablets?

Hi all. Can you advise me on a recommended laptop with the following requirements?
1. Brand. - Asus/Acer/open to suggestion
2. Budget. - less than rm4,000
3. Specs. core i7, at least 4gb DDR3, USB3.0
4. Size. 14/15inch
i am leaning towards Asus a42ja, but it doesnt have USB3.0. if it had, my search would have been over for now.
thanks
hm... you sure you want to pay extra for USB3.0? light peak is being pushed by intel and apple (next year) so usb 3.0 won't get alot of love... But if you want usb 3.0 there's the N43(jf/jq)...
but that laptop will be within your RM4k budget.
Also... you need i7? or just i5? cause unless you do video/photo editting and you're a hardcoe GTA4/RE5 fan... there's not much need for i7, since i5 is faster...
