i just installed kies since they announced froyo gonna be updated thru it.
i got alert in kies for firmware update, it reads:

current: PDA:JF4/PHONE:JF4/CSC:JF4
latest: PDA:JG4/PHONE:JG4/CSC:JG4

is this froyo? it is neccessary to update if its not froyo? can i bypass it and update to froyo later?

for those with gps problem, i used "gps optimization" from the android market...it works..now my gps locks within 10 seconds (last time 1-2 minutes)
i use brut navigation btw
