Wifi was always on from home until I left and continued with 3G connection automatically. PlurQ, WhatsApp running in background. Started GTalk as I left my apartment to go office.

Started radio at around 7:15am.

I think WhatsApp did take some heavy toll on my phone. Similarly, last night standby, the battery doesn't drain as much before I reinstall WhatsApp.

As for the lagfix, I gotta hold on first, as I haven't apply the 3-button recovery patch. Then I still haven't fully decide on OCLF or Voodoo, seeing that my battery is crap here.

hey guys, jz wanna ask.. does voodoo works on all 2.1 firmwares?? If yes, how do I uninstall it before flashing to another new firmware without bricking my phone. Coz I read tat some ppl bricked their phones when the try to flash to another firmware even after disabling voodoo.

Disable just by creatin new folder "disable lagfix" in sd card then can flash to new firmware right away??

What firmware are you on? My battery life sucks to high heaven!! I'm thinking of giving up on the Galaxy due to its dismal battery life.

jpk 2.2 doc's (from xda) superslim firmware, gmail & twitter (updated hourly),
internet usage (mainly checking twitter links etc) for about 1 hour throughout the day.
on DiGi's network. Without using JuiceDefender, i'd never last the day.
and i dont even use this device for many calls/sms as it's my second device.

I have tried jp4/jp8/jph - all with similar results. coming from an iphone - i would have thought the battery life would be about the same. and i think the iphone had more apps which pulled data.

I want what mengsuan gets - my usage is similar too +/-. i'd even settle for 30% at the end of the day. arghhhh!!!

Perhaps somewhere down the flashing route, the modem/pda/csc combination is screwing up the battery life which is why i wanted to know mengsuan's firmware (preferably the specific modem/pda/csc files if not standard).

thanks will try that. i have been using 2G when idle - switching to 3G when I am on the internet only - it did improve a little but not tremendously.

Dude, imho, i used most GPS platform... in the end. Garmin still the best and user friendly as well. I think Garmin for Asus (which is a android device) does come with Garmin as reported in the previous thread by other. So i guess there might be a chance available in other Android, just a matter of demand/market only.

by the way i just tried my SGS music player ...using the headset from the box...just noticed that the headset from
SGS is a shitty quality    i thought the player sound real bad, even my omnia 2 sound better and i change
the headset from omnia 2...it sound amazing especially with 5.1 sound...any of you guys notice this at all??

now my question is why samsung put shitty headset in the first place for an amazing high end phone like this?
