My galaxy s battery is really good, i don't see any draining of battery (tested with papago and abduction game), both don't drain the battery for me. I'm now with firmware JM9 with stock JM8 vodoo, i set my phone to use only GSM and both gps and wifi off, after full charge at night, tomorrow morning my battery now at 97%, only 3% drain about 8 hours of sleep, good enough for me.
I think draining of battery of some galaxy s phone because of software glitch in their phone, my brother galaxy s battery draining battery really quickly, from 100% to 88% with same setting as i'm using, try factory reset, wipe all data in internal SD, nothing seem to solve the problem, now my brother waiting for 2.2 version and see if the problem solve, i will report back when officially Froyo released... QUOTE(sengasdf @ Oct 13 2010, 11:47 PM) Damn... took a wrong way to flash my phone... now end up black screen... but I could not use "volume-down + home + power" to enter download mode. Any other way? i don't want to say it but if you really can't use the 3 button combo to enter recovery mode, the only chance is to sent to samsung center to fix it... |

JPM is slightly lag compare to JM8/JM9 according to my experience, even worse when play music in background while browsing (flash off, full website), causing force close off applications in background bcoz lack of ram.
I hope samsung release the decent update for us in asia, JPM software really bad compare to eclair (JM8/JM9). I think i have to wait vodoo to fix this phone... |
