Have u guys notice, when pinch out zoom on the homescreen, will show multiple homescreen like Desire HD? Running DXJP1 now.

First, you'll experience some slowness, and then everything will work smooth. And maybe after installing OCLF, gonna be much smoother than b4.

Rooting is pain in the ass, but easy as that:

- put update.zip in /sdcard
- flash i9000_Kernel.tar (no repartition, no reboot)
- pull the battery
- pull the usb cord
- insert the battery, go into recovery mode (volup+home+power), should state recovery <2e> or something similar
- run update.zip
- pull the battery when device rebooting (showing GT-I9000)
- flash I9000DXJP1_Kernel.tar (no repartition, with auto reboot)

(instruction similar to JPH/JPK, should work here.
hope is useful for u all

i use 2 days to search the link and try and error only can root

Just realized Papago X5 the link aniki give is trial. So true need pay RM88 to get the code?

Tried JPK b4, after booting, it vibrate and vibrate (screen still blank, vibrate like no end), so I have to take off the battery.

Same, use 803 pit or 512pit with PDA, MODEM, and CSC still the same. It vibrate n screen still blank. >.<

poi's looks better on papago cuz it can sync with malfreemaps,..i put
brunei,singapore, malaysia and indonesian map in it  brows.gif

can swap between maps wherever youre travelling at! gona look for sweden
and denmark maps for this upcoming december trip! thumbup.gif

If in google map, you're able to find location, but how to find our location using trial papago x5? I have no idea since I'm new to this gps software.
